Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr on a Bosman switch from Manchester United earlier this January, has continued to maintain his superb physical levels despite his age. He has earned recognition for his durability over the years.

A right-footed centre-forward renowned for his shooting and heading, the 38-year-old has been in stellar form for his club in the ongoing 2022-23 campaign. He has scored 13 goals and laid out two assists in 17 games so far.

Al-Nassr, who last lifted their domestic trophy in 2019, are currently second in the Saudi Pro League standings with 60 points from 27 games. They are three points behind leaders Al-Ittihad with similar goal difference of +41.

Bukayo Saka reveals his childhood admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo

Speaking to club media, Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka opened up on his upbringing and his memories of playing football in his neighborhood as a youngster. Claiming that his love for the sport started in his own home, he said:

"When I was younger, I was a really active kid. Outside my house, there was a big green space so we could go out there, everyone from the close, and play football together. My earliest memory of playing football is actually in my back garden, but when I started playing with other kids in the area, then it was in the close out the front."

Revealing that Cristiano Ronaldo used to his childhood hero, Saka added:

"The older I got, the more I fell in love with football. I played a lot but watched a lot of football too. I used to love Cristiano Ronaldo. A lot of other kids my age used to love watching him as well. The different things he could do on the pitch, his skills impressed us. The way he took free kicks too... I think a lot of us used to try to emulate that."

Saka, 21, has been in brilliant form this season, registering 13 goals and 11 assists in 36 Premier League games so far. He has been nominated for both the Player of the Season and the Young Player of the Season awards.

His team are currently second in the league standings and did extremely well throughout the course of the season to lead Manchester City on the table. City are, however, likely to retain their title. The Cityzens can wrap up their title defence if they garner all three points against Chelsea this weekend.
