The Selecao have had a perfect qualifying campaign, winning all six of their games, scoring 24 unanswered goals. Ronaldo (5) and Ramos (2) have contributed seven of those goals.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker scored his brace in the 9-0 home win over Luxembourg on matchday six, which Ronaldo missed due to suspension (accumulation of yellow cards).

Portugal boss Roberto Martinez has named a strong starting XI, featuring the trio of Rafael Leao, Ronaldo and Ramos up front. Fans are ecstatic to see Ronaldo and Ramos start together, with one tweeting:

"Felix should sit and watch"

Another chimed in:

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has been in sparkling form in the ongoing Euro 2024 qualifiers, scoring five times in as many games. He missed the last game (against Luxembourg) due to suspension.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner got things underway with a brace at home in the 4-0 home win over Liechtenstein before bagging another brace in the 6-0 win at Luxembourg.

After drawing a blank in the 3-0 home win over Bosnia & Herzegovina, the 38-year-old scored the winner in the 1-0 win at Iceland. The game made Ronaldo the first male player to make 200 international appearances, and he marked the occasion with a goal.

The Al-Nassr forward drew a blank in the narrow 1-0 win at Slovakia on matchday five. He drew a yellow card in that game for a coming together with goalkeeper Martin Duvravka, which ruled him out of the next qualifier against Luxembourg.
