Liverpool's Curtis Jones has jokingly poked fun, claiming that Trent Alexander-Arnold doesn't have a skill he performed during a training session in his locker. During a session with the England team, the pair were standing side-by-side when Jones flicked the ball with one foot and brilliantly kicked it with the other foot.

This skill made Alexander-Arnold smile, and the pair exchanged a handshake. The Liverpool midfielder went on to say (via Rousing The Kop):

“He doesn’t have it in his locker.”

Besides Alexander-Arnold, who recently moved to Real Madrid, Jones was the only Liverpool player called up for England's 2026 World Cup qualifiers. As the Group K leaders, England will take on Andorra, who are yet to register a point in the group, today (June 7).

After the game against Andorra, the Three Lions will take on Senegal in a friendly game on Tuesday, June 10. Having won all of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, England will be looking to make it three wins in three games against Andorra.

Meanwhile, both Jones and Alexander-Arnold will be looking to make Thomas Tuchel's starting XI in the upcoming games. Alexander-Arnold has registered 33 caps for England, scoring four and delivering six assists. Jones, meanwhile, has only scored once in four appearances for the Three Lions.

Danny Murphy has claimed that the Reds target Milos Kerkez is a versatile defender. The former England international added that the Bournemouth left-back is a good crosser of the ball.

In a recent discussion with talkSPORT, Murphy said (via Rousing The Kop):

“Kerkez is an all-rounder, I’ve watched him live probably three or four times, I think you get a bit more when you watch someone, He actually likes one-on-one defending, he doesn’t mind it, he’s got a bit about him.”

He added:

“[He] loves bombing, [he’s] fit, he’s a flying machine, but his crossing, he whips it into great areas, [he’s] really confident with his delivery.”

As a left-back heavily linked with a move to Anfield, Kerkez registered eight goal contributions in 41 outings for Bournemouth last term.
