Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has provided a cryptic response when asked about his altercation with Jurgen Klopp.

Salah came on as a late substitute during the Reds' 2-2 draw against West Ham United. However, before coming on, Salah was seen having a heated argument with Klopp on the touchline.

After the game, Salah was asked for a chat in the mixed zone, to which he responded (via Lewis Steele on X):

"If I speak there will be fire."

Klopp was asked to share his take on the matter after the game. He said (via Fabrizio Romano on X):

"We spoke about that moment in the dressing room with the lads. It's done."

When asked if Mohamed Salah also considers the matter resolved, Klopp said:

"Yes, that's my feeling."

Salah hasn't started two of Liverpool's last three games. His recent form hasn't been impressive. While he has made significant contributions over the course of the season, scoring 24 goals and providing 13 assists in 41 appearances across competitions, the Reds, as a team, have performed not so well in recent weeks.

They were knocked out of the FA Cup and the Europa League and their Premier League title charge has also seemingly come to an end. While the Merseysiders still have a mathematical chance, realistically, it would need a miracle for them to become league winners this season.

Is Mohamed Salah headed to a Liverpool exit?

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool stint is set to come to an end at the end of the season, Arne Slot is set to take over as the new manager and start a new chapter for the Merseyside club.

Mohamed Salah could also follow his current manager and leave the club. Salah hasn't been in his best form recently and the winger has also been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League since last summer.

Salah, though, will leave behind a great legacy at Anfield. He has so far scored 210 goals and has provided 88 assists in 345 appearances across all competitions for the club.
