David Beckham also took to Instagram to celebrate his wife's special day with the post below.

The ties between Lionel Messi and David Beckham have extended beyond the pitch since the Argentine legend signed for the Miami-based franchise last year. Both men enjoy some career similarities, the Englishman and Argentine are both magnificent forces in sports marketing.

The pair also spent significant portions of their careers in Spain and a short stint in France with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Now linked with the same franchise, the similarities have only brought them closer.

Victoria Beckham has also become close with Messi, his teammates, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba and their partners.

Lionel Messi is the star of David Beckham's Inter Miami, but Luis Suarez the silent hero

Lionel Messi takes center stage in any team he features in and David Beckham's Inter Miami have not been any different. The World Cup winner has rightly been the star of the A-list ensemble in Miami, but his Uruguayan teammate and friend has kept things ticking for the team.

The former Barcelona teammates have enjoyed a fine campaign so far for the Herons, bagging 15 goals between themselves. While Messi has been sidelined due to injuries, Suarez has kept the team heading in the right direction.

The former Ajax, Liverpool, and Barcelona star has been phenomenal for David Beckham's franchise, despite being 37 years old. With eight goals and five assists in 12 games this season, he is currently the Miami-based outfit's MVP.

The former Blaugrana stars will look to reignite a partnership reminiscent of their time in Catalonia for Inter Miami this season. Inter Miami will be pleased that their recruitment strategy has paid off, with the side looking like they will comfortably feature in the MLS playoffs this season.
