Leeds, meanwhile, lost to West Ham United 3-1 at the London Stadium in the Premier League. Rodrigo Moreno gave the visitors the lead in the 17th minute. Declan Rice restored parity in the 31st minute before Jared Bowen made it 2-1 in the 71st. Manuel Lanzini confirmed the win injury time.

Leeds are in the relegation zone with 31 points from 37 games. They are battling Everton and Leicester City to stay up in top flight. The team's struggles, though, haven't taken away Allardyce's sense of humour, which was evident in his recent gesture.

Sam Allardyce said he's as good as Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola after Leeds United appointment

Sam Allardyce returned to management after two years' when Leeds United appointed him mid-season. Despite the absence, he didn't lost an iota of his confidence.

In his first press conference after being appointed the manager, Allardyce made a bold claim that he's as good as top managers like Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola (via GiveMeSport):

"Far too many people think I am old and antiquated, which is so far from the truth. I might be 68 and look old, but there's nobody ahead of me in football terms. Not Pep, not Klopp, not Arteta. It's all there with me.
"They do what they do. I do what I do. But in terms of knowledge and depth of knowledge, I'm up there with them. I'm not saying I'm better than them, but certainly as good as they are."

Sam Allardyce is a very experienced manager and has immense knowledge. However, despite his presence in the dugout, Leeds are all set to go down, being two points behind 17th-placed Everton with a game to go.
