Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Como midfielder Nico Paz after Real Madrid decided not to pursue the 20-year-old in the summer transfer window. According to CaughtOffside, United's scouts are impressed by Paz, and the Red Devils are keen on signing the Argentine attacker.

Real Madrid were also looking forward to signing the 20-year-old. However, according to reports in Spain, the La Liga giants are walking out of the deal after the reported arrival of Franco Mastantuono ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.

New Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso holds Nico Paz in high regard, but the Argentine midfielder was uncertain about joining Los Blancos due to not being assured a regular place in the first team. As a result, Manchester United can capitalise on the opportunity by luring the 20-year-old attacker.

During his first spell in the Spanish capital, he made only eight appearances for the first team and started only one Copa del Rey game for Los Blancos.

Paz joined Serie A side Como from Real Madrid last summer for a reported transfer fee of €6 million, where the La Liga giants also retained a 50% sell-on clause. The deal also includes a €8 million buy-back clause. For Como, Paz made 35 appearances in Serie A, scoring six goals and providing nine assists.

Real Madrid attacker Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he would vote for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) attacker Ousmane Dembele over Barcelona's Lamine Yamal to win the Ballon d'Or.

Without hesitation, the former PSG superstar named his French teammate as the favourite to win the coveted individual accolade. Kylian Mbappe told RMC Sport (via Madrid Universal):

"Would I vote for Dembele? yes. Do I really need to explain? We're talking about Yamal and Dembele, I'm going for Dembele. It's very clean."

Dembele, who joined the Ligue 1 champions from Barcelona in August 2023, won the treble with Luis Enrique's side in the 2024-25 campaign. He played a crucial role in PSG's success, scoring 33 goals and providing 15 assists in 49 appearances across all competitions.

However, France suffered a disappointing 5-4 loss against Spain in the UEFA Nations League semifinals earlier this week. They will face Germany in the third-place match on Sunday, March 8.
