Hansi Flick's side are reportedly close to completing the signing of Espanyol's goalkeeper, Joan Garcia. As per Barca Universal, La Blaugrana will pay the 24-year-old's €25 million release clause, and he will pen a five-year deal.

Barcelona plan to make Garcia their first-choice goalkeeper, which suggests that Ter Stegen could become surplus to requirements. As such, the reigning LaLiga champions will look to offload him this summer. Barca are also reportedly considering terminating his contract, which does not expire until 2028.
