Real Madrid legend Guti recently hailed Los Blancos superstar Jude Bellingham as the best player in the world.

Bellingham has hit the ground running at the Santiago Bernabeu, bagging 11 goals and three assists in 12 games across competitions. The 20-year-old scored four goals in his first four games, joining Cristiano Ronaldo as the only two players in the club's history to achieve this feat.

Barcelona legend Lionel Messi will likely pick up a record eighth Ballon d'Or on Monday, October 30. However, Guti has insisted that Real Madrid possess the world's best player. He was asked as such by El Chiringuito (via Football Espana):

"Bellingham, no doubt."

Guti explained his opinion by claiming Jude Bellingham is competing with both midfielders and forwards:

"I think to talk about the best in the world, we have to talk about what is happening right now. He’s not only competing with the midfielders, right now he’s competing with the forwards too.”

The English superstar joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund this past summer for €103 million. He's Los Merengues' second most expensive signing in history but he's more than living up to expectations.

Bellingham leads the goalscoring charts in La Liga with eight goals and two assists in nine games. He's also shining on the international stage, earning 27 caps for England, scoring two goals and providing five assists.

Spanish outlet El Partidazo de COPE has reported that Jude Bellingham will be available for Real Madrid in the El Clasico against Barcelona on Saturday, October 28.

There were some concerns over the former Dortmund midfielder's fitness. He was subbed off in Los Blancos' 2-1 win against Braga in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

However, it's reported that Bellingham is only dealing with adductor overload and he will play against Barca. The 2023 Golden Boy nominee confirmed this (via MadridXtra):

"I will play in El Clasico.”

Real Madrid sit at the top of La Liga, with eight wins, one draw and one defeat in 10 games. They sit two places and a point above their El Clasico rivals heading into the clash at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

It will be Bellingham's first competitive appearance for Los Merengues against the Blaugrana. He played in a 3-0 defeat to Xavi's reigning La Liga champions in a pre-season friendly in July.
