Vinicius Jr has pledged to win a treble with Real Madrid in the 2025/26 season. The LaLiga giants had an underwhelming 2024/25 campaign, where they finished second in the league behind Barcelona and also missed out on the Champions League.
Los Blancos were defeated in the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana final by the Catalans. Hansi Flick's team, interestingly, also won both games in the league.
Real Madrid did win the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, but have made multiple changes since the end of the season. Carlo Ancelotti has made way for former Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso.
Meanwhile, Los Blancos have signed Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth and Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool. The Spanish giants have also announced that Franco Mastantuono will arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu in August.
As such, there's renewed hope among Real Madrid fans ahead of the new season. A fan recently posted a comment on Vinicius' picture on Instagram, stating:
"Treble this season🔥"
The Brazilian, interestingly, responded to the comment, posting:
"Yessir"
Vinicius Jr enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 campaign, registering 21 goals and 18 assists from 52 games across competitions. The Brazilian will next be seen in action in the FIFA Club World Cup. Real Madrid begin the tournament with a game against Al-Hilal on Wednesday, June 18, at the Hard Rock Stadium.
When does Vinicius Jr's contract with Real Madrid expire?

Vinicius Jr's contract runs until 2027, but Real Madrid are apparently working to tie him down to a new deal. However, according to SPORT, the two parties are yet to reach an agreement regarding a renewal.
The Brazilian is arguably one of the finest attackers in the world at the moment and narrowly missed out on the 2024 Ballon d'Or. The 24-year-old finished with 1129 points, second behind Manchester City's Rodri, who amassed 1170 points.
Despite Kylian Mbappe's arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu last summer, Vinicius Jr has held his own with Los Blancos. The LaLiga giants are pleased with his efforts and have already offered him a five-year deal worth €20m per year.
However, the Brazilian is apparently holding out for more, as he wants to earn at par with Mbappe. The Frenchman's annual earnings are above €20m due to his signing bonus, which is included in his deal. The situation has given rise to a standstill, although talks are ongoing.
