FOX recently held a one year out from the World Cup event, where IShowSpeed made an appearance. Speaking to Clarissa Thompson of Fox Sports, Speed backed his idol Ronaldo to lift the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

"It's that time. The World Cup is here. It's that time. The World Cup is in America, right? So, I can be anywhere. Obviously, I'm pulling up to every game, every Portugal game," said Speed.

He continued:

"I truly believe that Cristiano Ronaldo is going to win the 2026 World Cup. Y'all heard it from me, IShowSpeed. Ronaldo is winning the 2026 World Cup. He just won the Nations League. That's just an appetizer; the World Cup is the real meal, and they've got it. Portugal's squad is looking good."

Interestingly, Portugal are yet to qualify for next year's mega event, and are in the UEFA Group F alongside Hungary, Republic of Ireland and Armenia. Roberto Martinez's team created history this month by becoming the first team to win the UEFA Nations League twice since the inception of the tournament in 2018. Portugal will now be looking to build on this momentum and go all the way at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
