The Spanish captain had reason to celebrate after the encounter despite the two points dropped. Sergio Ramos notched his 168th cap in this encounter, making him the most capped Spaniard in history, surpassing the legendary Iker Casillas.

The Spanish skipper also became the most capped outfield player in Europe, ghosting past Latvia's Vitalijs Astafjevs. Ramos still has some more mountains to climb though, as the European record is held by Italy's Gianluigi Buffon (176), and the world record is held by Egypt's Ahmed Hassan (184).

The skipper made his maiden bow in 2005 and has gone on to win two European Championships and a World Cup with La Roja.

#1 Joshua King strikes from the spot again

It was certainly somewhat of a deja vu moment for onlookers as Norweigian forward, Joshua King, stepped up to convert from the spot for the second consecutive fixture against Spain.

Last time out, he was on hand to send the ball past David de Gea from the spot, cancelling out Rodrigo's 16th-minute opener. Sergio Ramos, however, stole his thunder towards the end of that encounter, cheekily dispatching a penalty kick to claim all three points for La Roja.

This time around, King kept his cool to dispatch his penalty beyond the Spanish shot-stopper once again, but the Spaniards had no time to respond as Ramos and his men were forced to share the spoils in Oslo.
