We need either Germany or Spain to win the 2014 World Cup as these are the only country he has played or managed in between 2010 and 2014.
It was Germany who won the 2014 World Cup by defeating Argentina 1-0. It was Germany's fourth World Cup title. Thus our hypothesis turned out to be true.
