The La Liga giants have pursued the Argentinian intensely this summer, following Neymar's unexpected departure. Ernesto Valverde has been keen on securing a wide-attacking player, with Suarez also temporarily available due to injury.

Barcelona are believed to have made contact and tabled an offer of €35 million for the 29-year old. However, reports in the AS claim that Paris Saint-Germain have turned down the offer. The Catalan club are expected to make an improved offer and reach an agreement for Di Maria in the coming days.

Hazard to force Madrid move

Touted to be Real Madrid's number one transfer target this summer, Eden Hazard suffered an injury in June that had seemingly forced Real Madrid to postpone a move for the Belgian. However, with Hazard's recovery nearly completed, the La Liga giants could still make one last attempt to land their man.

Hazard is known to be incredibly fond of Zinedine Zidane and is keen on working with the Real Madrid manager. He has also admitted that he would love to play for the Los Blancos one day.

Recent reports suggest that Hazard has hinted at an exit from England this season by informing Zidane that he would internally push for a move to Madrid if the champions make a formal approach.

Ousmane Dembele completes Barcelona transfer

The La Liga giants have successfully completed a deal to secure a replacement for the recently departed Neymar. With talks over Philippe Coutinho seemingly dead in the water, Barcelona have sealed the deal for Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele.

Having pursued him relentlessly in recent times, the La Liga giants have finally landed their man in what will cost them a whopping £138 million including add-ons. The Frenchman will fill in the void left by Neymar this season, and his services will require an initial payment of approximately £97 million.
