Ligue 1 and the rest of the World

Paris Saint-Germain on the brink of signing Mbappe
After what has turned out to be the transfer saga of the year, Ligue 1 runners-up are finally on the verge of signing teen sensation Kylian Mbappe. The Monaco star has stormed the world with his meteoric rise to prominence.
In a race that has witnessed the participation of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City among few, PSG, it seems, have won the marathon. ESPN have reported that the French side are close to completing the signing of the 18-year old striker, who will cost about €150 million and will also see a player go the other way, with Lucas Moura reportedly the chosen one.
Marseille plotting swoop for Divock Origi
Origi seems to have tumbled down Jurgen Klopp's pecking order, with Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah being given preference. The 22-year old is believed to be growing insecure about his place in the team and could favour a move elsewhere.
Ligue 1 side Marseille have reportedly emerged as a potential destination for the Belgian, as the French side are allegedly keen on signing the striker and are expected to submit a bid in the region of £14 million before the end of the transfer window.
Monaco interested in signing Stevan Jovetic
Inter Milan have had an active transfer window this summer, having procured a number of new players. The Serie A side are now looking to offload a player or two in order to restore parity, and have reportedly told Stevan Jovetic that he's free to leave the club, claim Sky Sources.
With Newcastle and Brighton being the first ones to show interest in the striker, the reports indicate that Ligue 1 champions - Monaco, have now emerged as potential suitors for the 27-year old. Kylian Mbappe's imminent departure spells a void in attack and Leonardo Jardim is understood to be desperate to sign a striker before deadline day.
