Cambodia have never lost to Pakistan in their previous three clashes

Pakistan host Cambodia at the Jinnah Sports Stadium in Islamabad on Tuesday for the second leg of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the first round.

The tie is finely poised right now after the sides played out a goalless stalemate in Phnom Penh on Thursday.

Pakistani head coach Stephen Constantine had named a relatively inexperienced squad for the two-legged fixture, with two players even making their debuts in the first leg.

Yet, the 197th-ranked side fared well, avoiding a loss and keeping themselves in the tie. But in the decider, Constantine could go for more experienced players. Waleed Khan could get a start here, with Shayak Dost operating from a more advanced position.

In the midfield, Ali Uzair could be introduced from the start as the Pakistani Falcons look to control the midfield.

On the other hand, Cambodia would feel disappointed for not having made use of their home advantage to go in front on aggregate.

Ranked 177th in the world, 20 places above Pakistan, the Koupreys could make a few changes to their starting XI here to play more offensively.
