Paraguayan footballer Marcos Caceres suffered a serious arm injury when he fell awkwardly in a match between Boca and Newell’s Old Boys.

In the first half of the game, the referee had to stop play when Caceres was lying on the ground in obvious pain.

Caceres was trying to take the ball away from Juan Manuel Martinez when he fell awkwardly with his arm unable to support his weight. His arm twisted at the elbow in an unnatural angle before he fell to ground.

He had to be taken off the field in a stretcher. Even though he dislocated his elbow, it is reported that the injury is not as serious as it looks.
