Paul Merson suggests when Ole should get the permanent job

Should Ole be permanent at the wheel?
Should Ole be permanent at the wheel?

Overcoming Chelsea 2-0 in the FA Cup, Ole Gunnar Solskjær's side bounced back from the PSG defeat in style. Goals from Hererra and Pogba saw the Red Devils go past the Blues into the quarterfinals of the FA Cup for a fifth successive season.

Since Jose Mourinho was sacked as the United manager, they have not lost a single game in the Premier League out of the 13 games that they played so far. Under Ole, they have beaten the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea, and are currently in the top four, one point above Arsenal. Questions have already started popping up at Old Trafford as when Ole should be given the permanent job? While having a discussion on Sky Sports, here's what Arsenal legend Paul Merson said:

To bounce back like that, I see them going into this game on Sunday with every chance of beating Liverpool. I think if Liverpool come away with anything, it's a good result. That tells me Ole is doing something right at the moment.
"If they beat Liverpool, I'd be shocked if he didn't get it then.

Man United host Liverpool on Sunday in the Premier League. The reverse fixture was won by Liverpool 3-1 and they are looking to do the league double over the Red Devils for the first time since 2013-14. The reverse fixture also bought an end to Jose Mourinho's reign at the Old Trafford.

Manchester United will be without Jesse Lingard and Martial, the duo having picked up injuries against PSG. Lukaku and Mata did their job perfectly but to do it against the top team in the league would be a tough job. Ole will have to show his tactical masterclass if United want to pick up all three points on Sunday.
