Can anyone become a football manager of a real club on the basis of his concepts while playing the online game the Football Manager?

Apparently yes. Vugar Huseynzade, a 21-year-old Azerbaijan-born, has landed the job of the Manager of Azerbaijani Premier League club FK Baku’s ‘A’ side. A Business Management graduate from Boston University, Vugar has previously worked for a US-based sports agency. The Baku-born Huseynzade was initially hired by FK Baku in February 2012 as an assistant/advisory role after the club was impressed by his knowledge of the game that he applied while guiding his “Football Manager” team to numerous glories.

Eight months since, FK Baku, whose ‘A’ side has been without a manager for two years, has now decided to hand over the reigns to Huseynzade despite of him having no experience of being a manager. The spot has been vacant for the last two years since Kamran Ismayilov left.

It’s also being reported that Huseynzade was prefered to former Marseille and France legend Jean-Pierre Papin.
