Just over a week after Media reported about Pratik Shinde’s plight, help poured in from different corners to make the boy live his dream of playing for a US club Galveston Pirate Soccer Club. Though he is the youngest Indian to sign a football contract for the US Soccer League, his dream was nearly derailed as he could not effort a ticket to travel to US.

However with Buldana Urban Co-Operative Society Ltd. coming forward to take care of his travel expense, visa and insurance, Pratik is an elated guy. Pirate SC coach, Mr. Brendan Keyes, who was impressed by Pratik’s skills and dedication, has come forward to bear all expenses of Pratik during his stay with the club.

Sportskeeda, one of the first site to advocate Pratik’s plight and published an exclusive interview of the boy, through its crowd funding initiative collected RS 15000/- to buy the 15 year old boy a decent football kit so that he can concentrate on his game without worrying about all these things.

Pratik meanwhile thank all the people from the media who brought his woes to the forefront and promoted his news which help him garner love, support and sponsorship. He also specially thank Sportskeeda for its crowd funding initiative.
