Arsenal v Everton - Premier League
Aubameyang scored on his Arsenal debut

Petr Cech 6/10

The Czech goalkeeper was denied his 200th Premier League cleansheet yet again as Everton scored a goal in the second half. He made a mistake that could've led to another goal for the Toffees had Niasse's strike not hit the pole. He was subbed off for Ospina after picking up an injury in the game.

Hector Bellerin 7/10

The Spaniard used his pace well on the day and looked good going forward in the game. He is still a little tentative defensively and must step it up in that area against Tottenham next week.

Shkodran Mustafi 8/10

The German defender was immense in the first half of the game. His block to deny Theo Walcott in the first half was crucial. He threw his body around whenever necessary and also assisted the Koscielny goal.

Laurent Koscielny 7/10

The Arsenal skipper looked more solid than he did against Swansea mid-week but still looks rusty in some areas. Walcott created problems for him in the first half. The French international scored Arsenal's second goal of the night off a corner.

Nacho Monreal 7/10

The defender was solid as usual defensively but was taken off for Saed Kolasinac at half-time. He was extremely impressive in attack once again and hit the bar in his attempt to score in successive league games.

Granit Xhaka 7/10

The Swiss international was annihilated against Swansea on Wednesday but he stepped up to his duties on Saturday. He provided cover for the defense, did well on the attack and looked more confident in the middle. However, his constant backward passing is still a concern for the gunners.

Aaron Ramsey 9/10

Ramsey scored the first hat-trick of his career on the day and was brilliant from the word go. It was believed that after the inclusion of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang in the team, Ramsey might not make it to the first XI. However, the Welsh international was trusted by Arsene Wenger and boy, did he repay that trust!

Henrikh Mkhitaryan 9/10

He did not score any of the five goals, but was directly involved in three of them. He was the best Arsenal player on the pitch and created beautiful chances throughout the game. He rekindled his partnership with Aubameyang and hit the ground running on his home debut.

Mesut Ozil 8/10

New signings have relieved some of the pressure on Ozil's shoulder and he seems to be more relaxed in the middle now. He was threatening the Everton defence throughout the first half and looked absolutely untouchable at times.

Alex Iwobi 7.5/10

The 21-year-old has been subject to a lot of stick from Gooners this season but performed well after getting a surprise start against Everton. It seemed like the high quality of players surrounding him inspired him to raise his game by a few notches. Linked well with Ozil and Mkhitaryan throughout the game.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 7.5/10

Though he was offside for his goal on the day, Arsenal's new record signing hit the ground running on his debut for the gunners. The finish to complete the strike was still incredible. As expected, his pace created problems for the opposition and he had a strong presence in the middle throughout the 90 minutes.

Substitutes

Sead Kolasinac 5/10

Kolasinac started the season with a bang and looked like a great signing for his first couple of months at Arsenal, but has fizzled out in the past few weeks. He looks low on confidence and is missing his cutting edge. His mistake led to the sole Everton goal that was scored on the night.

David Ospina 6/10

He was brought in for an injured Cech in the second half. He did his job for the most part of the game but looked shaky on a couple of occasions.

Jack Wilshere 5/10

He touched the ball just four times since coming on for Ramsey in the 74th minute. Thus, he could not do anything special in his limited time on the pitch.
