Unai Emery has finally given Alexandre Lacazette a start with Aubameyang shunted to the left wing. The move has paid dividends with both the strikers scoring wonderful goals.

The duo interchanged their positions to good effect with both the attackers pressing the Cardiff’s backline with their tireless energy and work rate.

Their crackling chemistry is perfectly summed up in one fluid move, in which Lacazette freed up Aubameyang with a delightful flick and the Gabonese international putting the ball in the bottom right corner with a sumptuous shot.

With Mesut Ozil coming alive in the second half, the Gunner’s attack played some pretty entertaining football and Unai Emery should find a system that can accommodate both the strikers who can attack with venomous pace and finishing ability.
