Liverpool's midfield ran circles around Manchester's, as Klopp started Fabinho, Naby Keita and Gini Wijnaldum in his midfield, with one of the front 3 constantly dropping back to give their team a numerical advantage in the middle of the park.

That worked like a charm, as Fabinho was given acres of space on more occasion than one, pinging in perfect passes, dribbling past opponents whilst making chances and taking chances.

This was a match bossed by the Brazilian midfielder, who has not settled in with his new team so far, but this could've been the moment we all look back at as the start of something truly special. The Brazilian seems to have finally come to grips with what his team and manager require and expect of him week in week out.

United's midfield lacked any real sense of urgency in the first half, allowing Liverpool to play around them, letting them take shots at their goal.
