The England international has also got an assist to his name this season.

The man has made all the difference in the Liverpool backline, Virgil Van Dijk has been literally unbeatable this season with a string of impressive matches in the league so far.

The Dutch international has brought a calmness and composure to the shaky backline since his arrival from Southampton. The costliest defender has so far lived up to his name averaging 1 tackle, 1.3 interceptions, 5.5 clearances and 0.7 blocks per match while also acquiring an impressive successful pass percentage of 89.9.

He is an almost unquestioned choice for this starting XI.

The defender has so far averaged 1.7 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, 2.7 clearances and 0.4 blocks per match while also racking up a successful pass percentage of 84.2 this season.
