It has been rightly said that one man's misfortune is another man's opportunity. This seems to be the case for Liverpool this season as other big clubs from the Premier League such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are dealing with their own struggles - primarily poor form and lack of squad development.

Currently Liverpool and Manchester City are the only two clubs that are expected to lift the coveted Premier League title in May next year. The competition in the top six has dried up to such an extent that last season the second-placed Liverpool and third-placed Chelsea were 25 points apart.

Klopp was bested only by Guardiola's Man City last season in the Premier League, and will be itching to get his revenge this year.

The reduced competition in the top six provides Liverpool with the golden opportunity to go all the way this season and win their first Premier League title.
