Bruno Fernandes is one player that a majority of the fans believe United should bring in. But again there has been no progress here, leading to fears that another club may swoop in and get him.
The Sporting CP midfielder had an excellent last season where he was directly involved in 36 goals for his team in the league. That made him one of the most targeted players across Europe at that point, but this transfer window not many clubs have registered interest in him.
The one club that hasn't ruled out a move for him is Manchester United. Fernandes is exactly what United missed last season as he’s creative, can run the game from his attacking midfield position and can contribute goals as well. The other thing that he has going for him is that he’s versatile and can play in the central midfield position as well as a number 8.
Currently, it is rumoured that Sporting want about £70 million for him. That price keeps going up with every goal he scores and every good game he has, like the one against Liverpool where he scored and assisted the other.
