Liverpool and Manchester United linked Nicolo Barella has revealed his pride at being linked to the two giants of European football after his fine performances with Cagliari so far this season.

When asked about a potential future move, he played down the stories by stating that it is not up to him and that he is only focused on staying up in Serie A with Cagliari right now, before finally adding that being linked to some of the top clubs in Europe is a sign of his improvement as a player.
“I’m not the one who sorts out the transfers. It’s the agents, presidents and clubs who do that. I only think about Cagliari and to stay up in the league. We’ll see about the rest. The interest from big clubs is pleasing and makes me proud. It means I’m doing the right things,” Barella was quoted as saying.
