#3 James Rodriguez

What an inspired signing James Rodriguez is proving to be for Everton. It would be fair to say that following his underwhelming spell at Real Madrid, James had been written off in many circles. But Carlo Ancelotti, who has managed him previously at both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich wanted him at Everton for a reason.

And that was to build his team around a playmaker who can bring about a lot more dynamism to their game and Rodriguez has done exactly that. He has been a galvanizing presence at Goodison and improved Everton vastly from the get-go.

The Colombian international has scored three goals and provided two assists from four games. Form is temporary and class is permanent. He might have struggled at Real Madrid where he wasn't a central figure but Everton is the perfect place for James Rodriguez to prove to the world once again what an incredible player he is.

#2 Son Heung-Min

Son Heung-Min

Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur may have got off on the wrong foot this season, but they seem to have steadied their feet after two thumping wins against Southampton and Manchester United.

At the heart of both those resounding victories was Son Heung-Min whose pace and movement is proving to be too hot to handle for most Premier League defences. Once the 28-year-old gets going, there seems to be no stopping him.

He has now scored six goals from four games and looks hungry for more. Son never stops working on the pitch and he has struck an incredible partnership with Harry Kane at the front for Tottenham Hotspur. There's no saying how good they're going to get once Gareth Bale is fit and ready to join them in that frontline.

#1 Harry Kane

Harry Kane has turned it on from the start and he has been leading Spurs from the front and looks set to torment Premier League defences over the course of the season. The Englishman has been stacking up incredible numbers already like it's no big deal.

Kane has three goals and six assists to his name already and has been an ominous presence in the final third. The versatility in his game helps keeps opposition defenders guessing and his selflessness, which is quite uncharacteristic for strikers, is a major blessing for Tottenham Hotspur.

If Harry Kane can keep his good run going, then Jose Mourinho might be able to silence his detractors once again and maybe, just maybe, get Spurs a new addition to their trophy cabinet which has only been gathering dust over the past decade or so.
