#4 Flop - Harry Kane

Kane was missing his shooting boots at Wembley

Harry Kane's indifferent start to the campaign continued as the 25 year old failed to find the net for the second consecutive game running. Kane broke his goal duck for August last month but is yet to score in September as the struggles for Tottenham Hotspur pile on.

The 2018 World Cup Golden Boot Winner put in one of his worst performances of the season on Saturday afternoon as he looked barely involved in any of the attacking build-ups and in return, had just 22 touches of the ball during the entire 90 minutes.

On the other hand, Kane was able to complete just 69% of his total passes while producing just two attempts and one shot at goal. The only positive from the game would be his aerial strength as the Englishman won a couple of good headers in the box but none of them eventually bothered Liverpool keeper Alisson.

Usually, September has been the month in recent years when Kane has started firing in the goals but this year it has turned out to be the opposite. It is important that the Spurs vice-captain picks himself and starts putting in consistent performances as a tough road awaits for his club both in the Premier League and the Champions League.
