#5 Leicester

After being linked with Tottenham for a while, The Sun are now linking Norwich’s talented midfielder James Maddison with Leicester City. The Foxes will have to pay £17 million for the player they see as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez.

Meanwhile, Everton are also looking to improve their team and have targeted West Ham United’ Aaron Cresswell to strengthen their backline. According to the Goals page 8 of The Sun on their Sunday (April 08) edition, they make the claim of Allardyce is a fan of the player.

Every season, there are rumours of Arsenal changing their manager with Arsene Wenger never really coming up with what is expected at the beginning of the season. L’Equipe believe that the Gunners have targeted Lucien Favre of OGC Nice to be their new manager.

Stevenage chairman Phil Wallace stated that starlet Ben Wilmot could move in the summer with Arsenal and Tottenham interested.

“We have made public our valuation,” Phil Wallace said. “The closer we are getting to that the more likely it is that Ben will move.”

Faouzi Ghoulam is a man on the radar of Manchester United and it seems as though they will make an approach for him in the summer if Tuttomercatoweb are to be believed. Mourinho perhaps wants a new-look defence and has targeted the Napoli left-back.

Meanwhile, Andre Gomes – who seems to have finally found his feet at Barcelona – isn’t thinking about interest from Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola is expected to sign a new deal with Manchester City that is set to make him the best-paid manager in the world with an annual remuneration of £20 million, say the Mirror. His previous contract had just over 12 months left in it and his new one will keep at City for 2020.

Sheffield Wednesday striker George Hirst is a man in demand as according to reports from Sunday People (print edition, April 08 – page 51), Everton and Newcastle United are interested in the youngster, with Manchester United also being another club who are eying him. Mourinho is apparently confident about landing him.

Karim Benzema is a man that is in the news of Madrid departures of the summer. According to the latest report from Diario Gol, Arsenal have rejected Madrid’s proposal of swapping Benzema and Bellerin as they want to keep hold of the right-back.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola has apparently asked for €200 million to sign Sergio Busquets from Barcelona – yes, you read that right – as he wants to sign his “ideal player,” say who else but Don Balon. Guardiola believes that his inclusion will change the mentality of the team.
