Nabil Fekir has opened up about his failed move to Liverpool last summer. The Frenchman stated that it is part and parcel of being a footballer and that he has no idea as to what he could do in the summer.

“Liverpool? It’s part of a player’s career, but it makes you stronger and you have to move forward. I really don’t know what I will do [next summer]. But as I said I feel good in Lyon, the president trusts me, that’s good. You will see [if I extend my contract].”

Meanwhile, Liverpool youngster Pedro Chirivella, who is on loan at Extremadura, has claimed that it would be an honour to play at Mestalla as he is from Valencia.

“Liverpool know I want to go back to Spain,” he said. “Playing at Mestalla would be a pleasure. I'm from Valencia.”
