Bruno Fernandes ready for the Premiership
Sporting superstar Bruno Fernandes has claimed that he is ready for a move to the Premier League this summer. He revealed that he was approached by clubs from England and Spain last summer.
However, he didn’t feel like the time was right to move at that time because he was worried about playing time, which is why he stayed at Portugal. He added that since he played a lot of football in his debut season, he needed similar kind of consistency for another season.
As a result, he stayed with Sporting.
“Last year I received approaches, mainly from England and also from Spain, but I did not feel prepared to go. Not because of difficulty, but for the high number of games in England.
“My debut season at Sporting was the first time I played so many games, I thought I needed one more season with that kind of regularity. Now I feel prepared for this requirement if I ever have to play in England or a team in Spain.”
