Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has blasted critics for making claims despite not knowing the inner workings of the club. He also added that the United scouts are looking for players that fit the club.

Solskjaer also confirmed that he is currently speaking with the club about signings and affirmed that there are no quick fixes when it comes to transfers.

“I don’t know if all these critics know what’s happening,” Solskjaer said.

“We’ve got scouts scouring the planet for good footballers and we’ll sign players we think is the right fit - personality wise, price wise, quality wise and can you have longevity at this club and I’m confident we’ll get the players.

“I’ve been speaking to the club, we know that we have to be realistic and have a job to be done there’s no quick fix.”
