#3 Simeone opens up on Arsenal rumours
With the imminent departure of Wenger at the end of the season, Diego Simeone has distanced himself from the rumours linking him to the Gunners.
“The first thing I’d like to say is that I admire Arsene Wenger a lot,” Simeone was quoted as saying by Football Espana.
“He is a great professional and he has had to reinvent himself so many times over the years to remain at a club of Arsenal’s stature.
“For a young Coach – which I still consider myself to be – he is a figure which to look up to, to respect and to admire.
