The Merseyside outfit need a goalkeeper more than anything else right now and, as a result, are trying to secure the signing of Roma goalkeeper Alisson, Sky Sports understands. The Brazilian is valued at £62 million by the Serie A outfit and talks are underway for a deal.

Meanwhile, ESPN believes that Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Dutch sensation Steven Bergwijn in the summer. The talented youngster plays for PSV Eindhoven and has scored five goals and created six assists for his club and has helped them stay 7 points clear up top in the Eredivisie.

With his situation at Barcelona getting difficult, the Gunners want to take advantage, but they are only willing to pay €60 million for the player Barca paid over €100 million last summer.
