#4 Wanyama is not leaving January
Victor Wanyama was once the midfield stronghold at Tottenham. However, unfortunate injuries meant that he has lost his place and is now finding it hard to break into the starting XI.
As a result, there have been stories of him leaving the club in January with Tottenham tempted to cash in. However, Wanyama’s agent Ivan Modia has rejected claims that his client is set to leave the club in January.
He did, however, leave the door open for a move in the summer before adding that he hasn’t been in contact with Roma sporting director Monchi.
“There is no possibility of Victor leaving Tottenham in January, but we’ll see after that,” agent Ivan Modia Yanez was quoted as saying.
“I have not had contact with Monchi regarding this issue.”
Spurs are currently third in the Premier League with 48 points from 21 games.
