Liverpool urged to sell Adam Lallana
Former Reds star Steve Nicol has claimed that Liverpool should look to sell Adam Lallana as he is not good enough to play for the Reds given the level at which they are now.
Nicol is of the opinion that Lallana doesn’t improve the Merseyside outfit when he comes on to play. He thinks that the Reds need to have players who can push to play in the starting XI, something which he doesn’t think Lallana can do.
“I don’t think Lallana is good enough for where Liverpool are now. I think when he starts or when he comes on, there’s a clear drop-off. That’s not where Liverpool need to be,” he said.
“Liverpool need to be filling the squad out with players who are going to push the starting eleven players. For me, Lallana doesn’t push anyone in the starting eleven.”
