According to former coach Rene Meulensteen, Manchester United should take the risk of signing Gareth Bale in the summer. The Welshman is reportedly unwanted at the Bernabeu and Meulensteen thinks that he could be a good asset for the Red Devils.

He also added that the Welshman adds explosiveness to the team and can both score and create goals, before finishing up by claiming that it is a bit difficult with his current situation in Spain.

“We all know he’s had his fair share of injuries, so it’s always a risk.
“But, on the other hand, a top notch Gareth Bale is a really good asset for Manchester United.
“He brings power, he brings pace and he can create and score goals. It’s a bit difficult to see where he is at the moment, though.”

Should United sign him?
