#2 Madrid eye Eriksen

Speaking on Transfer Talk podcast, journalist Graham Hunter revealed that Real Madrid are eying a move for Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen, whose contract ends in 2020. The midfield maestro has been stalling contract talks with the club and Madrid might take advantage of it in the summer.
While Hunter admitted that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is a difficult man to negotiate with, Eriksen’s contract situation allows the power to shift towards the Galacticos and the desire of the player himself.
"There is no question whatsoever that Real Madrid see Christian Eriksen as the perfect signing," said Hunter.
"They would like to add him to their squad this summer.
"I think everybody respects the way that (Tottenham chairman) Daniel Levy conducts his transfer negotiations, but the power is always with the player and the buying club when a contract is running down in the way that Eriksen's contract is at Tottenham.”
