Welcome to the madness set forth in Manchester and Madrid. Both clubs seem to be interested in bringing in at least one defender to their respective clubs and there given that there are only a handful of quality defenders around, it is only natural if they have mutual targets.

The Red Devils have been linked with Eder Militao for a while now but if this report from Marca is to be believed then the Galacticos have sent scouts to watch the Brazilian defender and have reported back with positive remarks. The report adds that Porto hope to start negotiations at €50 million.

Meanwhile, journalist Nicolo Schira used his Twitter to reveal that United have spoken to the agent of Kostas Manolas, Mino Raiola, and are willing to pay his €36 million release clause to add him in the summer.
