Luiz wants Chelsea stay
Chelsea defender David Luiz has confirmed that he wants to stay at Chelsea beyond this season. His contract with the Blues runs out this summer and he shall be a free agent after that unless Chelsea extend his contract.
“I think so,” he said when he was asked about whether he is set to extend his stay with the Blues. He also added that he is in talks with the club regarding an extension and revealed his love for the club.
“We are talking with the club. Everybody knows I love this club, I feel comfortable here and am happy here. I am doing my job very well so I think a lot is going to happen.
“I have the best job in the world so I have to be motivated every single day. I love football, if I didn’t love football I would not be playing anymore.”
