Premier League transfer news: Marco Reus to Tottenham, Wenger to Everton and more - March 5, 2018

Real Madrid CF v Borussia Dortmund - UEFA Champions League
Could Spurs really land him?

Hello and welcome to the Premier League transfer roundup for the day. As you can expect from the title, today has been one hell of a day in the market and here are some of the best bits.

#5 Vultures around West Bromwich Albion F.C.

With West Bromwich Albion F.C. looking increasingly likely to go down to the Championship, Southampton and Stoke are targeting goalkeeper Ben Foster, who is also expected to leave should the Baggies get relegated, as per The Sun.

In the same report, Burnley, Everton, and Crystal Palace have been credited with an interest for Craig Dawson, who could also leave to save his Premier League status, while Jay Rodriguez has a suitor in Stoke City.

#4 Manchester City madness

Crystal Palace v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League
Kane is coveted

Despite the fact that Pep Guardiola once admitted that he will never sell Bernardo Silva, Don Balon are reporting that he might as well do it should it mean that he gets Isco in return. Apparently, the Catalan is willing to put Bernardo Silva in negotiations to bring in Isco from Madrid in a deal that could reach up to €100 million.

Meanwhile, it is being reported by Diario Gol that Pep Guardiola is still optimistic about his chances of landing Harry Kane at Manchester City. Tottenham have apparently rejected a £175 million + £25 million in variables—mounting to a record £200 million—as they want the whole money upfront, something that City can do.

#3 Manchester United madness

Manchester United v CSKA Moskva - UEFA Champions League
Blind could finally leave

According to the folks at Mirror, Manchester United are stepping up their pursuit of Sporting Lisbon wonder-kid Rafael Leao. Leao is only 18-years-old and has attracted interest from Manchester City as well.

Meanwhile, as per another report from the Mirror, Manchester United will still sell Daley Blind even after triggering a clause that extends his contract to another year and, as a result, this allows United to recoup some of the £14 million that they paid for him in 2014.

#2 Merseyside

Brighton and Hove Albion v Arsenal - Premier League
Wenger out, Wenger in

It seems as though this summer will be a very busy one for the Merseyside outfit as they are continuously being linked with various players, with the latest one being their former starlet, Suso. The Spaniard has a €40 million release clause in his current contract, Calcio Mercato reveals, and we all know that Liverpool have the money to trigger that.

Meanwhile, in what seems like a groundbreaking claim from Daily Star, Everton are eyeing under-fire Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger, as a replacement for Sam Allardyce. Everton are willing to give him a path back to the Premier League should he be sacked by the Gunners.

#1 North London

SSC Napoli v Spal - Serie A
The coveted man

It seems as though almost every top European club are after the signature of Napoli star Jorginho. And now, Arsenal have joined the race with Liverpool and Manchester United for the midfield passing maestro, believe The Sun. They also claim that he could cost around £60 million.

Meanwhile, in what would be an extraordinary signing for Tottenham should they be able to pull it off, the North London club are readying a bid for the injury-prone German superstar, Marco Reus, say Mirror. The Dortmund star is stalling contract talks with the Ruhr outfit and has till 2019 till his contract runs out.
