Cillessen frustrated with Barcelona’s asking price
Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen is not happy with Barcelona’s asking price for him. The Dutch goalkeeper is a second-choice ‘keeper with the Blaugranas as Mar-Andre ter Stegen is the number one.
As a result, the Netherland international is looking to leave. However, he showed his frustration at Barcelona by claiming that their asking price is not helping matters and that he is waiting and will take a decision after he is done with his holidays.
'The fact that Barcelona ask for £53m for me does not help anything,' he said.
'I still have to wait and see what happens in one of the top five European leagues. [A decision] will only be taken after the holidays.'
The likes of Manchester United are said to be interested in him as David De Gea’s contract ends in 2020 and he is not showing any signs of penning down an extension just yet.
