What Solskjaer should focus on
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has claimed that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should make a final decision on the formation that he intends to play next season.
The Red Devils are set for a rebuilding process in the summer and Neville thinks that the former Molde coach should choose a formation before signing players.
His reasoning is that should the Norwegian prefer a diamond, he will have to sign good midfielders but if he prefers a 4-3-3, then wide players will be the need of the hour.
"We've talked a lot about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doing a lot of rebuilding to his squad over the next few months," Neville said.
"But if he wants to play a diamond that requires a lot of central midfield players. Otherwise with a 4-3-3, he's going to need some wide players."
