Off to Barca?

What is it with Barcelona’s obsession with Liverpool players? Or rather, the tabloids’ obsession with linking Liverpool players with the Catalans. According to El Mundo Deportivo, Barca are considering a move for – wait for it – Dejan Lovren.

It seems as though the Camp Nou outfit have taken Lovren’s claims of being one of the best defenders in the world way too seriously.

Meanwhile, Eduardo Inda of El Chiringuito believes that Barca want to sign Firmino to replace Luis Suarez but that the deal would most likely happen in the summer.

"Firmino, from Liverpool, is the one they like the most. They see Luis Suarez as increasingly clumsy and are considering doing the same operation as Coutinho [with Firmino], but I guess it would be at the end of the season, not mid-season," he was quoted as saying.

Finally, the rumour of the day: Don Balon report that Liverpool will sell Salah to Barca or Real should they offer €160 million.
