Off to Premier League?

Hello and welcome to Premier League transfer roundup for the day! As the title may have given away already, we have some mind-bending rumours today. So without further ado, here we go!

#5 Leicester and Palace

Among the clubs in Premier League, Leicester City have a great eye for talent and have snapped up Manchester United and Chelsea target, Sam Van Huffel, on trial for two weeks, say The Sun.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are in the mix with interest for Everton’s on-loan starlet Ademola Lookman, who is playing in Germany for RB Leipzig. Palace apparently think of him as a replacement for Wilfried Zaha, say The Sun.

#4 Chelsea

New Terry?

Ever since the departure of John Terry, Chelsea have lacked a leader in defence, which is perhaps why they are targeting Newcastle’s captain Jamaal Lascelles and will make a £30 million move for him in the summer, according to Mirror.

Meanwhile, the Blues are set to sack Antonio Conte and will attempt to replace him with Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, say The Sun. The minimum requirement for Pochettino to join Chelsea, however, is for the Blues to play in the Champions League next season.

#3 Liverpool

Meyer will be a free agent in the summer

There could be some good news for Liverpool here as their target Max Meyer isn’t going to renew his contract apparently. "At the moment we can and must expect that Max leaves the club in the summer. Everything suggests that,” Schalke’s director Christian Heidel was quoted saying on Birmingham Mail.

"At the moment there is no offer from us and no wish from Max to have a conversation again."

Meanwhile, Leicester City’s midfield star Ndidi stays coy on Liverpool interest, claiming to The Sun: “I don’t think about this.

“Any move to a bigger club will take care of itself if I keep doing my thing.”

#2 Arsenal

Navas to finally leave Madrid?

With Petr Cech not getting any younger, getting a new goalkeeper has become a priority for the Gunners and if Don Balon are to be believed, then Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas is the shot-stopper they have targeted.

Meanwhile, according to LTArsenal on Twitter, Arsenal sent scouts to watch Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz while he was playing against Norway U19. The German starlet is among highest rated youngsters in Germany and could be a star for the future.

Finally, Arsenal are among the surprise contenders for Gareth Bale according to Diario Gol.

Wants more wages

With the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the MLS, Manchester United need a new forward and they, according to Don Balon, have targeted their prodigal son Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. The Portuguese wants more wages and United could provide him that.

Meanwhile, The Sun say that Everton might part ways with manager Sam Allardyce and have targeted Shakhtar Donetsk’s Paulo Fonseca to replace him. The Ukrainian outfit, however, are willing to pay him £8 million-per-year to keep him at the club.
