#2. Emile Smith Rowe (Arsenal)

Arsenal v Aston Villa - Premier League

Emile Smith Rowe is an Arsenal academy graduate who made his Premier League debut last season. Throughout last year, Smith Rowe showed glimpses of his talent but was yet to reveal his true potential; however, this season, the 21-year-old has repaid every bit of faith that Arsenal have shown in him.

So far in 10 games in the Premier League, Smith Rowe has scored three goals and provided two assists and his skill set and abilities have shown considerable promise.

When on the pitch, Smith Rowe consists of all the skills required from an attacking midfielder. He is good on the ball, a confident passer, a nifty dribbler, and a good finisher. His pass accuracy of 87% and 0.28 assists per 90 minutes is also one of the highest in the Premier League for his position.

Though the Englishman has shown some poor decision-making at times, the value he brings simply through his skills is impossible to ignore. When given the license to roam in midfield, Smith Rowe is arguably one of the best in the the Premier League. Coupled with an eye for goal, his threat on the pitch amplifies.

It is likely we still have not seen the best of the young talent. As Arsenal aim to become a dominant team again, Smith Rowe will be key to establishing the fear factor.

1. Mason Greenwood (Manchester United)

Mason Greenwood is a Manchester United academy talent who has made the footballing world take notice ever since his senior debut. Though he has been in the first team for some time now, this has been a breakout season for him.

While Manchester United have been disappointing in the Premier League this season, Greenwood has been a bright spark for the Red Devils. He has scored four goals in nine games and even managed to keep top summer signing Jadon Sancho on the bench.

Greenwood can operate anywhere in the front three and has always had a keen eye for goal. He also has good passing and above-average crossing; but above all that, he is an accomplished finisher.

One of his core strengths is that he does not have a weak foot and is always looking to pull the trigger on either one of them. He can shoot from practically any angle or distance, as displayed by his superb long ranger against Leicester. He averages 2.88 shots per game and 0.32 goals per game, some of the highest in his position.

At only 20, Greenwood is already an established Premier League player, and with proper development, his potential can be limitless. Furthermore, with high-quality players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani around him, Greenwood is getting important lessons from the very best in the business.

However, it will be interesting to see where Greenwood features in Ole Gunnar Solskjær's new 3-4-2-1 system. Nevertheless, Manchester United have a real gem on their hands if they can manage him properly and ensure his development.
