“We want to be competitive and do well in the Europa League.”

The defender was linked with numerous clubs over the summer with the likes of Juventus and Lazio seemingly keen on acquiring his services. However, PSG have now won the race to secure his signature and their defence will definitely be boosted by this signing.

Lugano left Fenerbache after spending five seasons with the Turkish giants. Fenerbache are currently being involved in a match-fixing scandal, which has seen them being thrown out of the Champions League while a possible relegation from tthe Turkish first tier looks possible too.
