#3 Bruno Fernandes (7.03)

Bruno Fernandes has been, by far, Manchester United's best player since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon in the 2020 winter transfer window. In 99 appearances for the club across all competitions, the attacking midfielder has scored 44 goals and provided 34 assists.

Fernandes has been the club's third-best player this season, however, as per WhoScored ratings. He has scored four goals and provided three assists in 13 Premier League matches this season. But that hasn't quite helped the team achieve the highs they want to, as they are currently eighth in the Premier League table.

Fernandes hasn't scored in nine matches in the league and 14 across all competitions.

Fernandes's form has taken a hit recently too, with some sub-par performances. The Manchester United faithful will hope that the 27-year-old returns to his brilliant best as the club enter a new era. If he does find form under interim manager Ralf Rangnick, Red Devils fans can be assured of some scintillating midfield play in the coming weeks.

#2 Mason Greenwood (7.10)

Mason Greenwood is currently Manchester United's second-best player as per WhoScored ratings. He has played 10 Premier League matches for the Red Devils so far, scoring four goals.

Greenwood was given the license to shoot at will by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the 20-year-old taking 3.1 shots per game on average. He has also played 1.2 key passes per game, but his teammates have failed to convert them into goals. Consequently, the youngster is yet to record an assist in the league this season.

Greenwood has been guilty of losing possession too often, averaging 11.1 per game in that regard. He will want to fix that as Manchester United enter the Ralf Rangnick era. The youngster, however, has time on his hands to work on his shortcomings and grow into a world-beater as many expect him to.

#1 Paul Pogba (7.14)

Paul Pogba, mostly due to a fantastic start to the season, has been Manchester United's best player so far as per WhoScored ratings. However, the French international suffered a dip in form as the club succumbed to multiple defeats that led to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking.

In all, the 28-year-old has made seven assists in the league, four of which came in Manchester United's Premier League opener against Leeds United. He is currently suffering from a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the club's last four Premier League matches.

Pogba has played 1.7 key passes per match on average, with 85% of his passes finding one of his teammates. He is yet to open his goal account in the league, though, something he will want to fix once he returns to first-team action.
