#4 Paul Pogba

No one in football divides opinion quite like Paul Pogba. The Frenchman made a then world record move from Juventus to Manchester United in 2016, and it was expected that he would lead Mourinho’s side. Yet for many, he has flattered to deceive. He has shown glimpses of what he did at Juventus, but there simply has not been enough of them since his return to England.
One of the main issues is that we still don’t really know what Pogba is good at. He has been used in a number of different roles at United, but there are none that he has really excelled in. Things seem to have become toxic between him and Mourinho this season. He has criticised the team’s style this season, which led to the Portuguese manager stripping him of the vice-captaincy.
